Upon his retirement, he was the NFL's all time leader in fumbles, a record now held by Brett Favre (who is also the all time leader in interceptions thrown).

Akin to the Babe's record number of strikeouts

I remember to having to listen to a lot of Ram games even the away ones on transistor radio living in SoCal. The issue was both my grandmas inconveniencing me wanting to take my sister and I shopping on Sundays.
I could pick out clothes in a split second, sister took all day. Parents of course approved grandmas paying for my clothes. I did not stop hating those trips till I was 14, I looked older than I was from muscle size and the mustache. The grandma on my mom's side would ruin flirting with the young sales girls. She would walk up and say "did he tell you he was 14.? Of course that horrified the girls. She can't play the moral high ground as after she was killed in a car accident with her married boyfriend her past history of dating married men was exposed.

I remember him being a statue in the pocket, but lacking having 360 degree vision like a Tom Brady who you swore had eyes in the back of his head. He was a big dude and hard to tackle, definitely should have thrown a lot of balls away that he didn't.
