He probably has more entered than there are other trainers there today.

Hey Tom,

He entered 18 horses on Saturday with 2 wins, 5 place finishes and 1 show finish.

Someone mentioned that he earned over $1,000,000 in purse money but for the betting public you lost money playing his horses.

If you wagered $2 to win on each of his horses it would have cost you $36 and you would have needed at least 6 winners paying $6 or more to get a profit or perhaps one or two longshots with combined win payouts that were better than $36.

I'm sure the casual bettor didn't realize he had so many horses entered to run that day and probably wasted money playing his horses.

He'll probably win the Trainer title at Saratoga but it's a shame there isn't a system in place that would tell you which Trainer gave you the best return on your money. That Trainer should win the title not the one who entered the most horses in the season.

So in your opinion T. Proctor should win the training title?

Okay so maybe a certain number of entries to qualify but not someone who enters the most horses

Hey bro,

I just saw that he only had 8 entries he must not have been feeling too good today!!!

It was quite painful to see him with 3 wins and 7 out of 8 that hit the board I guess my favorite trainer got quite a bit of purse money today!!

Although C C Brown had 3 wins on the day at Belmont if you played all of his horses to win at $2 per wager you made $3.60 for your efforts

Interesting to note, you made $3.30 on your money if you played each of his horses to show at the same $2 per wager

So his horses paid almost as much to show as they did to win which is pretty sad but he'll probably take another Trainer title at Belmont
