When do the Kentucky Derby 2017 go on sale?

from the emails i get from Churchill Downs, it says September.. but i see online there are ticket packages available?

I do not believe anything has been officially sold yet. The packages you see online are (mostly) through unauthorized brokers. They don't yet have a secure deal for any tickets but based on history, they are assessing their likelihood of getting tickets through secondary markets and reselling to end consumers.
