Best turf courses in US
the 2 best that i ever knew are both closed now, Atlantic City and Rockingham.
today as bad as the main track is at Penn National, the turf is excellent.
one of the worst courses today is Monmouth, even after they spent all that money to re-configure it.

I think Belmont has a nice turf track and may be underrated.

Colonial
Colonial has the best of everything - announcers, paddock show, turf track - everything
It's where the Breeders Cup belongs

The Meadowlands has a great turf track. Unfortunately they only run on it a few days a year.

true but
further to Colonial, it's not all that far from Williamsburg, a great place to spend time on a short vacation, and being a nice place in that setting is fine by me
if you want a racetrack in a city, visit Happy Valley!

also meant to mention Woodbine, both of their Turf courses are excellent actually
yet the Breeders Cup keep being given to tracks not on anyone's list in this particularly category - now almost always Santa Anita, Del Mar and Keeneland on rotation
too bad
not exactly ideal really

I love November's at the Aqueduct. Full fields and just solid racing
Can't ask for much more... I'll certainly miss that place when it closes down.

Woodbine is out of the BC rotation with a rubber track main course.
