His 3 years, with 2 big seasons of Chrome wrapped around Pharoah, is really unique.

Let's be real here. Chrome has been beat. Shared Belief in as fair a race as can be had, put him away.
The reality is , who has Chrome actually beat? Hoppertunity? Mubtaahij?
Who is the best horse he has finished in front of in any race? Shared Belief who was slammed out of the gate in the BC Classic? And in a legit race, SB put him away.
He'll face Dortmund again tomorrow along with Beholder. I know I won't be laying down money on him at 4/5 against those two.

We will continue to hear this until Pharoah comes out of retirement, or CC heads back to Europe and beats some turf beasts. SMH

Not sure it will be much of a rematch. He'll probably beat Frosted like a drum as he did in Dubai. Victor never realy asked for any run the whole race.

TVGs Matt Caruthers was saying the owners of CC are considering running him as a six year old. Might as well, he is getting better with age. Racing needs something like that.

He will beat Frosted like a drum at a mile and a quarter. No contest.

A Frosted/Chrome rematch in the Classic would be epic. Frosted is not the same horse now, so don't automatically assume the result will be the same as in Dubai. Both these horses are at peak level now as 5yo's. It's like we have two more American Pharoah's type horses.

I truly love Chrome- not just a great horse but a great CALIFORNIA horse, but i would bet Frosted to beat him. I really can't get over how good his Met Mile was, and i don't think CC is as fast.

When a horse of his caliber gets a lead like that it is GAME OVER, I don't care who's chasing him.
Thrilled that a Derby winner is still at the top of the game 2yrs later. I wish Zayat would have kept his megastar in training, at least thru Pharoah's 4yr old season.

Great tactics by Victor making sure Dortmund or Beholder would have to go wide around the first turn if they wanted to challenge for the lead.

Hoppertunity had to go off at 10-1, right?
CC ran the race we all expected him to run...
