BRISNET PDF Files

Gene

Does it convert BRISNET PDF files to Word?

If so are you able to edit?

According to the reviews on CNET the trial version only works for a few weeks.

You must download from the Company link only. I believe other sites only have the demo. This is a special giveaway exclusively from the company that makes PDFZilla.

When you load the program, just type the activation key and you then own a legitimate and fully working copy of PDFZilla and not a demo.

I have used the software to convert a few BRIS PDF files and it works fine. I converted the files to both .txt and .html and you can easily edit the data. I prefer the .html conversions because it formats the data much better than .txt. The BRIS data will have to be parsed out to enable you to get the data into your spreadsheet or database. Parsing the data is also much easier in the .html conversion.

PDFzilla won't let me convert the PDF charts. It asks for a password, since it is a "SECURED" file. How do you work around this?

I print the chart to Primo PDF, then open it with Foxit and I can then annotate it, highlight it, underline, etc. I open the PDF I printed, not the original chart.

After a while, it is just easier to print the chart out and mark it up with a pen.

As far as copying, there area fonts and symbols you never get to work in Word or Excel.
