Who will get the lead?

I'm starting this thread because of the question that was asked in the other thread in this section. I for one value early speed but do not find that E1 ratings are always accurate in predicting the leader.

Please feel free to submit who you feel will be on the lead in the races of your choice. This may lead to a good discussion as to why/why not.

The hybrid running Style of E/P needs to be explored more in order to understand which horse will make the lead...can you explain what you know about what goes into placing a runner in this category... As a counter foil, one notices that there is no such hybrid of 'P/S' or E-P/P....Often an E/P rolls home a winner....so which horse makes the lead at which point in the race seems helpful to this discussion...

If I remember right, Randy Giles? used 5 running styles. E, E/P, P, PC, and C. Defining the running style depended on races where the horse finished in the top 3 or within 4 lengths of the lead. E/P was a horse that could get the lead in "slow" paced races or sit within 1 length of the leader and still finish in the above parameters.

I remember Ken Massa of HTR and F1, as do other posters on here.

I've wasted so much time building Access databases it's sick.

The only way to do this is to think in terms of many things at the same time and I am unanimous on that!
