Connecticut residents and ADWs
MyWinnners is supposed to be the only site available to Connecticut residents for online betting. However, I live in Connecticut and have an account with BetAmerica that is funded and active and I also have an unfunded account with Amwager that I opened a year ago. Does anyone know why some sites are ignoring Connecticut's regulation but sites like 123Racing are respecting it and prohibiting Connecticut residents? I wonder if my ability to use BetAmerica could be terminated at any time if Connecticut takes them to court?

123's betting platform is "powered by eBet Technologies", which is owned by Sportech. They also own CT OTB, so that's probably why 123 doesn't take CT residents.
As for the others, I have no idea, but if there are regulations that prohibit ADWs from operating there, then yes, you could lose access at any time.

Been betting through Twinspires forever. I don't like the Mywinners website, I stopped funding the account years ago.

Found a 3 year old article from Bloodhorse that said ONLY CT residents could use the Sportech ADW, there was nothing about other ADW's.But the article is 3 years old.

Mohegan is a beautiful casino located right on the Thames River. I never felt that Mohegan or Foxwoods valued handicappers as much as they should with enough comps. Hopefully, for your sake I hope that has changed. Since I became addicted to the convenience of ADWs, I haven't stepped foot in either casino. Maybe the casino business has become competitive enough that they will treat us better. Have a great time.

I find the Foxwoods racebook is 50 times better. The bet at your seat setup is easier, Mohegan does not show a signifigant number of tracks on the weekend as they have the EXACT same channel configuration as the airport OTB in Windsor Locks I sometimes go to, meaning channels 2-21 for the races, which is great for Wednesday in March, not so good for a summer weekend.Foxwoods has a separate TV channel for every track.I can't speak to the comps because I only go 4-5 times a year (I'm more minnow than whale ).But I will say, I think Mohegan is a better overall casino, so that advice and a dollar gets you a sausage burrito at McDonald's..

Attorney General made it easy for me to stop betting altogether. He forced Philly Park's Phonebet to close my account. The AG before him, (Blumenthal) forced Xpressbet to close my account. So I just stopped betting. Now they're not making any revenue off of my betting and I don't miss it. They did me a favor, by cutting off their nose to spite their face. Of course, they weren't that good looking to begin with.
