Improbable blitzes 4f at CD
Nice lookin' colt makin' the turn there in the mornin' sunshine. Appears to like the track, kickin' up some dirt; back to his ol' Kentucky home where he won his first race . . . 48 flat with splits of :11 4/5, :23 2/5, and :35 3/5 and galloped out to five furlongs in 1:01 2/5; switched leads late.

This might be the Baffert sleeper, if there can be such a thing.

Yeah he does . . . notice blinkers off and that elastic stride has returned; colt is strethcin' out and diggin' in w/a purpose. This one here is gonna be tough to beat, maybe one more work before the race . . .

This is the one Baffert folks are underestimating. He might just be sitting on the tote at 8-1 come Derby day. He's not going to be my primary play but will get some use.

definitely has a big shot. he was right there with Omaha Beach who will most likely be the favorite. he wasn't going to beat Omaha that day but he still ran very well considering he wore blinkers which he didn't like (according to Baffert). and you could see him climbing on the backstretch obviously not very comfortable. so if Omaha doesn't fire or has a bad trip - boom, he's right there. not a sure thing but seems Probable .....or at least possible

My concern with this horse is that I do not think he can get 10 furlongs. I agree that he would be a cinch in the Pat Day Mile.

Outside of the City Zip there is nothing the horse has done to say he cant get 10F... He is a sub 38 second final 3/8 and a Buckpasser X horse.
And if a person dont like this one ya really gotta hate By My Standards... just saying... (im not a By My Standards guy)

10F probably not a problem for him but he's not War of Will or Tax in that respect, but neither are any of the other speedier ones.
I am starting to think that speedy won't hold for this derby, there are just too many of them who are all pretty close together in talent......so maybe it will be a stamina winner year. Hopefully the track is not wet.
Guess we'll see.
