Few Platinum users had an issue with scratches--they would click a horse to scratch it, and 2 horses would disappear. Weird.

Steve made an adjustment with the code and all is well, now. Anyone with scratching issues, send your email addy and I'll get you the working version.

Gawd it's getting boring here...all the political stuff.

I got one political question:

Kamala Harris...................................would you?

My dog is sick--we don't know why. I've taken her to the vet 3 times. She's just not her normal self (she's a terrier) and I'm taking her to a different vet today.

My wife and kids are sick about this...and I don't care what it costs-I'll approve anything the vet suggests.

I didn't realize how much of a part of our family she is--but that's the reason I haven't been posting much lately. -NCG

I know how you feel,Greg. If myself and my dog had health issues, I would seek medical help for my dog before myself. Good luck.

Greg, I feel the same way about my dog. I hope she gets better. They do become a part of the family.

Greg:

Nothing worse in the world than a sick family pet. Especially a dog as I can relate to always having at least (4) of them in the family while growing up as a kid. Pulling for your family Pooch Big Time and I mean it with the utmost sincerity.

Re the thread title - this falls into the etc. category

Just about every time I find a juicy overlay it's because the public, IMO, overrated the factor of class.

A couple of weeks ago at Parx the horse I liked was stepping up to a 46K allowance from a 24K allowance. Literally everything else about this horse indicated that he was the best horse in the race. His rivals had run in a 46K allowance. He went off a little better than 5/1. I probably would have bet him at 9/5.

The public almost always favors the class horse. A lot of the time they're right, but there has to be other factors to get me to like a horse. I can't get interested just because he's the only horse to run in a stakes event where he finished 5th.

Just a public note.

Horses going up in class have a lower ROI than horses dropping in class.

Allan

that's if you bet blindly
obviously I'm not talking about doing that

what you stated is well known
and that belief sometimes causes the class horse to be way overbet - but I admit it doesn't happen very often

Good luck, Greg. Have the vet check her thyroid if that hasn't already been done.

Update On Dog

That's what I realized about our dog too, they just become a big part of your family.

Whats the update? A good vet will run series of test, yes expensive but as you sat worth it

Some dogs as they get a form of kidney disease, impacts diet, lethargic etc

but no sense going into it, a good vet will test for that
