Your comment is ridiculous.
Surgeons and nurses performing clean surgery wear disposable face masks. The purpose of face masks is two-fold: to prevent the passage of germs from the surgeon's nose and mouth into the patient's wound and to protect the surgeon's face from sprays and splashes from the patient.

INFORMED people know that this is a long term danger NOW and until we all get immunity through vaccination.
The uneducated paint it, like most things they do not understand, as simply a BLACK (have the bug and die) and WHITE (not infected and survived 100% intact), while medical people quite readily understate that there dozens of intermediate morbidities evolving here that NO ONE can predict at the present time....Better safe that sorry means extra here when dealing with the, as of yet, UNKNOWN

“There are some states in which the leadership and the decision [to open up] was a little too precipitous,” he said. “There are others when the leadership did it right, but the citizenry didn’t listen to them.”

Painting yourself as educated or informed is laughable. Pompous is more accurate. Few are disputing there are POSSIBLE long term affects. Most of us live our lives with the knowledge there are POSSIBLE risks at every corner. We take precautions but we don't regard shutting down the economy in the process

Yes or No.... Has Fauci given contradictory information regarding c19 (disease/ prevention measures, etc) in the past 5 months?

No. As the disease progressed AND MORE BECAME KNOWN, he advocated a more restrictive mitigation posture.
