You've got to be kidding me. You don't know the difference between "within" and 'ago'...and you claim English as your "mother tongue?

How many actual rioters were there, compared to overall rally/protest crowd?

Has that been reported? No? If not, I wonder why.

BTW, what was the overall crowd estimate of protesters in DC last Wednesday? Anybody get a hard estimate from the parks services or police?

No? I wonder why....

10-20 years ago means from 2011-2001

Within the last 10-20 years could mean anywhere from today through 2001.

So yeah, depending on the actual point in time, they could very well mean the same thing.

I don't know about that, Jesus was quite a "rebel" himself...NO? At the very least...you couldn't have called him a "conservative".

Jesus's "rebellions" did not include "incitement to riot" weapons, or to cause "bodily harm" to others.

The conservatives of the day supported the Romans.

Come on now...let's stop pretending that we really know what Jesus did, or didn't do. None of us were there...so, we can't know what the man was truly about. You can't reduce a man's life to just a few disjointed aphorisms.

"Do not resist evil"...Jesus supposedly said, did he not? At least that's what the scriptures say...and we could easily look it up. Now tell me...can any society, whether Christian or not, ever abide by such a principle and still function? Can we imagine what would happen to our own society if we suddenly decided to "stop resisting evil"? There are "true Christians" out there who say that they are 'committed to Christ', and yet they are walking around with guns in their pockets...for heaven's sake. Jesus was a gigantic enigma, and yet we talk as if we "know him"...and we use him as an example for our daily lives. Come on...

Why not? Has it never occurred to you that one of Jesus' missions to the Jews of his day was to correct all their misguided, liberal, broad-minded approaches to the scriptures? It seems to me that if Jesus had a liberal bent to him, he would have taught that the gate is wide and broad is the road that leads to eternal life. But he didn't, did he?

I absolutely LOVE that you think "good ol' days" means what I know you think it means...it shows how ****ing warped you are, and why this country is where it is today...in the shit hole.

Jesus stood for feeding the hungry and clothing the naked. "If you don't give to the least of society, then you have refused me"...he famously said. If he were a "conservative"...then he would have told the beggars to go get jobs.
