Yeah, sure.
They were kidnapped, including children. True, they were targeted from different tribes than the people doing the kidnapping, but Africans kidnapping Africans. Yes sir, the reparations do need to begin there, if they are to happen.

This lady said that England was the first country to outlaw slavery. I was watching a program on one of the ancient kingdoms. Cyrus the Great, of Persia, freed the slaves in his empire in 539 B.C. Beat the English by almost 2,400 years.
