puzzled????
i am only looking for a pop on all these things. if i am long, i stop out if it crosses the 10-day moving average. the truth of the matter is that i found this thing Tuesday night and was supposed to play it on Wednesday. i missed losing on it yesterday and hopefully will get in on a better price this morning.

i guess the markets are trying to get back to the last swing highs, i suspect that once it gets there, the S+P will be pretty ripe for a 200 point fall.

Just saw that AMC has taken a 22% stake in Hycroft mining. Hycroft has been a trainwreck for a long time. the only thing i can say is that institutions had been buying out of the money calls with strike prices in the $4"
s and $5's

i have no idea why a movie chain would be buying a gold miner., especially this one that came very close to being dead and gone and lucked out with the Reddit and Robinhood bailout. Hycroft might be setting up for the Robinhooders to come into the stock. i say that because when i read this news, the very first thing i thought was to go in and short it. now i am going to check the short interest on this thing and maybe buy it.

i got stopped out of all longs late today except for all gold mining stocks. ( they might get those babies too) there has been some very large institutional buying of gold miners in the past 2 months.

this market still needs a 50% haircut. if it happens in April, that would be very bad. April is usually a great month for equities. 2023 will be very interesting, with control of congress changing hands.

the way these markets have been behaving lately, and we are headed into the month of April when the weather is perfect in the south china sea, makes one wonder if the people's republic of china will take over Taiwan. there is usually the other shoe to drop in life, and this could be the one and this would be the perfect time for this to occur.

I’ve been saying since January that things will crumble.

I’ve just about gone broke buying up bonds the last 90 days. Yields are hitting levels not seen in a long time. Stocks have competition for investors money again. When the money to buy bonds starts coming out of stocks, watch out below

Historically, the worst times in history to buy bonds are when interest rates are heading up.

Speaking of the bond market;

The Bloomberg Aggregate Bond Index was down 6.66 percent this year through March 31. This is a good index for anyone with investment grade bonds.

For long term market investors, the good news is that if you can stand the heat and hang on during the rough ride, the long term outlook for the bond market is usually bright. Certainly brighter than it is at present.
