My guess would be a slow and steady slide into the abyss.

But it still might take a while...this coming week is probably pretty key

I don't really care what the long term direction is. I don't hold overnight...

Options?

I say anything more than a 10% pull back is panic time....

Tell me something....

Who the hell invests before the bell in the mornings...??????

So many times I wake up at 7:30 and see my account way up..

just to watch a 180 to the down side during the day...

Its so frustrating...

Any thoughts?

Mike

Gotta say...the daily chart is looking no different then it has since the COVID crash ended...so...do nothing until the chart tells you to.

Daily chart of S&P futures of course. What other chart is there?

PS that was an interesting high volume day on the S&P futures yesterday...biggest "green volume" day since May when it was bouncing off the 50-day moving average.

We weren't near the 50-day yesterday...

Good luck to shorts if we break yesterday's high and close above the 20-day average again

Well...I didn't really expect this nosedive after the open...this 50MA is really going to be a major player the next few days...

S&P has only closed below the 50day twice since November 2020...

the co-founder of Facebook just invested $72 million in Asana (ASAN) yesterday. the stock shot up about 10%.

there is another move from Nancy Pelosi's husband Paul into an acquisition company called International Media Acquisition. this looks like its a SPAC deal where they are going to acquire some other company. Nancy and her husband never miss on these. this deal is at its early stages. i did well with another SPAC about 18 months ago with MP Materials.

Stock took off Sept 1ST...went up almost 50% in 2 weeks.....

Software companies are always in line to be bought....

This info would have been better on the 1st to watch and buy...

Is it too late now????

unfortunately you don't get the info fast enough, but someone obviously does. i am just pointing out how tough this game is.

in the back of your mind, you are saying that you missed the wedding, so now you don't want to be around for the funeral.

my only answer to that is that to play these things you have to be able to have a good risk-reward planned out. the main problem is that there is always a possibility of a big gap down before the market opens and you can't act fast enough.
