Roe V. Wade made it impossible for states to ban abortion up until the point of viability, which occurs around 24 weeks...well after the first trimester.

Not sure where light gets his information from, but it's obviously not accurate

Exactly.

He is kind of exposing himself as a Troll. Kind of like some of the others here.

Full...of...Shit.
I go after Democrats too. I certainly have no loyalty to a party. For example when Clinton was in office, I considered him and Madeline Albright indirectly responsible (through sanctions) for the deaths of thousands of children in Iraq. When asked in an interview if the deaths of 500,000 children in Iraq was worth it, Madeline Albright said "yes" on live TV. Horrific. Since her death she has been hailed as one of the great Secretaries of state. I don't think she thinks that now in the afterlife.

I get my info from Planned Parenthood.

I personally do not have a stand on abortion per se. I don't eat animals, am vegetarian and if I find a bug in my room I don't kill it but take it out. All life is sacred to me.

My concern is that there needs to be flexibility so that if a woman needs an abortion for a medical reason she should have that option.

Viability is the ability to survive outside the womb with or without medical assistance. So here's an idea. Let's develop a procedure whereby the aborted fetus is transferred to a flask and allowed to develop to the point where medical assistance is no longer required. It cost $40 billion to put a man on the moon. That's $300 billion in today's money.

The procedure was a plot point in Huxley's Brave New World. I see no reason why it shouldn't work. Of course the parents would be responsible for the cost.

Allow me to quote from the above pdf on the Planned Parenthood site:

Quote:
CURRENT LAW GUARANTEES WOMEN THE RIGHT
TO ABORTION AFTER THE FIRST TRIMESTER

Legality of Abortion
• In Roe v. Wade (410 U.S. 113 (1973)), the U.S. Supreme
Court held that the U.S. Constitution protects a
woman’s personal decision to end a pregnancy. Only
after viability — being capable of sustained survival
outside the woman’s body with or without artificial aid
— may the states ban abortion altogether. Abortions
necessary to preserve the woman’s life or health must
still be allowed, however, even after viability.
• Prior to viability, states can regulate abortion, but
only if the regulation does not impose a “substantial
obstacle” in the path of a woman deciding to have an
abortion (Harrison & Gilbert, 1993).
So if you get your info from PP, why in the world would you say something as dumb as abortions have always been illegal after the first trimester?

The Constitution and the Supreme Court has never prevented any woman from having an abortion. Stop appearing at the doorstep of the Supreme Court to govern in place of passing legislation. This type of end run around Congress is a threat to our country and balance of power.
Stop complaining about the Supreme Court. Stop complaining about our Constitution. Get off your lazy ass and get the laws passed. This is a democracy. If your view is not majority, stop whining.

Liberals have no time for doing things the correct and Constitutional way. No they would rather pack the court once and pass a 100 poorly conceived bills and have their kangaroo kourt rubberstamp them. And these same people had the nerve to call Trump a dictator and tyrant.

Because he gets so caught up in acting "Independent" he forgets how he is truly wired. They reach a point where they make all types of convoluted statements that fit whatever Narrative is clanging around in their Skulls.

^^This.^^

And when combined with a warped sense of Entitlement...it can get scary. Look at the last 2 years or so.
