He just emulated what the vast majority of politicians do: Get a reading on the direction and speed of the wind.

This guy may have been a brilliant epidemiologist at one time, but I called him out as a political fraud months ago. I think he probably has the best interests of the country at heart, but you can't go around pretending to be the nation's expert and start bullshitting people to accomplish some agenda that may or may not even be correct.

I saw the other day where he said he was proud of the company or foundation or something or other he's associated with for it's leadership in the race to come up with a vaccine.
I've never trusted this guy and I'd bet dollars to donuts that he has profited financially through this whole thing, and I don't mean just pulling a paycheck.
Taking public opinion into account in any biological scientific endeavor is straight up fraud.

Bob Woodward et al roasted Trump for "lying" to protect the country from COVID fear.
Will they do the same to Fauci and his supporters?
Nope. Definitely not.

Biden keeps him on, and Fauci is so relieved because they follow the science and getting back into giving WHO millions for nothing.
