As far as horses they bred either via Godolphin or Darley (and retained for racing)?

2012 Alpha
2015 Frosted
2017 Thunder Snow
2018 Enticed

Godolphin has also lost plenty of Derbies with horses they purchased either privately or at sales:

Wordly Manner, China Visit, Curule, Express Tour, Essence of Dubai, Regal Ransom, Desert Party

They've also failed to make it to Churchill with some would-be contenders:

Street Cry, Aljabr, Ruler's Court, Comeonmom, Blues and Royals, Tahitian Warrior

None.

But in the early days (1999, early 2000s) they were attempting to train their top Derby hopes in Dubai during the winter. Recently they've been leaving the American-based 2yos in the US to prep for the Derby in the tradition manner, leaving the Dubai races for the European-based and homegrown horses.

In that respect, Essential Quality is their most formidable prospect to date. Enticed and Alpha were only marginal contenders. Thunder Snow was an x-factor who ended up being a solid horse on dirt and in the US, but all that is moot since he ended up pulling up soon after the start. Frosted was hit-or-miss and had breathing problems during the winter.

I left off when of their most famous botch jobs for the Derby in Discreet Cat. They bought him as a 2yo off a monster effort in his debut at Saratoga. He romped in the UAE Derby but they sat on him during the Triple Crown for some reason and then he went on a tear in one mile races at the end of the year. Probably wasn't suited to 10 furlongs anyway.

I was hoping Proxy would still go. I don't care that much about the poor sloppy race. He is so well bred in my opinion I would still go for it
