At least today is 'featured' by the Tale of the Cat S. a Restricted $100K stakes with a field of 5 (and only 4 players).
It's Nee York breds. Where are they going to go, Finger Lakes?

The only T-bred track to still run 6 days a week, which may have to change.

Hey, what did WE do to you?

Send 'em in - we can use horses.
We aren't pretending to be a special place to go.

We know enough to cut back on the number of both races and days.
A lesson not yet learned by some tracks.

It is very nice.
No bad seats in the house - great view of the entire track no matter where you sit.

Back in the early '70s, 14-horse fields, with a three-horse mutuel field unless there was a coupled entry or entries - were quite frequent at Saratoga.

How times change.
