or is where I'm landing here, and I don't see either at odds worth any amount to wager.

Maybe a race to take a stab in the exotics with in the exacta?

Gotta take a stab at the anywhere near his ML. If he takes to firm dirt he will be dangerous.
After re-watching the springboard, it’s hard not to like Bankit as well.... the question is, how far off the pace will he be today. I see the as gunning for the lead, will be jockeying for position as well. The scares me a bit as he could get pinned to the rail with nowhere to go if he isn’t sent hard. Also starting to think the won’t draw off to win like the winner in the first race did.

I hope Bankit won’t be too far back and in need of a perfect trip but he is certainly good enough to overcome it.. I could be wrong but I don’t see him being sent and laying 2-3 lengths off the leader, although I think that’s what he needs.

Sigh...should have stuck with my gut instinct.

Would have been nice to see how the race shaped up had the not defected and actually pushed the on the lead.

Jay you called it. left alone on the lead proved to be dangerous today. was keyed up but didn't wanna finish on the surface today.

that race seemed to favor the forwardly placed runners...
Vic called it with the easy lead...
and the 16th pole finish line 100 yards up the track...
interested to see how CJ has it with the TFUS.

is the only horse I'd consider out of this race going forward, and even that is questionable.

Not sure many, if any, can get 9 furlongs much less more.

That did not look like a strong race in any fashion.

Will be interesting to see if Baffert ships for the next race as there is nothing to be afraid of in there.

Gray Attempt gets the Points . . .

Time:
23:12; 46:86; 1:11.01; 1:23.93; 1:36.95

Splits:
23:12; 23:74; 24:15; 12:92; 13:01 (25.93)

Horse ran some decent fractions.

~

After watching the video of the Springboard Mile, and watching Bankit come from last, split and get through traffic and rallly for a game second, I thought for absolute certain that he would win this one and win it easily; chart said he "lacked a rally." Didn't consider that last run may have taken something out of him.

The first two finishers seem decent enough.
Like the Horton runner a bit down the road.

I might box two of his shots /. This is a weak field. I think the Race 4 maiden at Gulf on the Pegasus undercard might have better horses.
Now that's a hell of a call.
