Best Car You Ever Owned

Everybody has a car they've owned that they loved. I had a Mitsubishi Galant VR4 (only 2,000 made) that was like a four-door sports car. Between me and my kids we just beat the car to death. If I had thought about it I would have had it refurbished and put on Meecum auto auctions.

I've had allot of cars including my current Jag.

But I'd have to say, my 72 Chevrolet Impala Convertible dark blue with a white top and 400 big block turbo 400 transmission with air is still my favorite.

Can't single one out, but a 1981 Yamaha maxim 650 motrcyle was a total joy. Fast and great handling, I traded it for a Harley Sportster and regretted it.

I had a '68 Nova, three-on-a-tree, 6 cylinder. Easy to work on, easy to maintain and very dependable. They just don't make them like that anymore.

My most fun car was a 2003 Ford Focus SVT. Man...could that car get out of its own way in a hurry...

Beetle

1968 Volkswagen beetle. My first car , I wish I still had her.
But I got caught up in muscle cars my in my senior year at high school. I sold her
for a Mustang, which also was cool, but I never will love a car like I loved that bug.

1972 Dodge Charger, Orange, cool color burst on the sides. black top and hood, hood pins, mag wheels....440 4 barrel.

Gas gage and speedometer needles synchronized - as one went up, the other went down at the same time!

You could see the side decals a mile away at night.
So could the cops!

Most enjoyable-----1971 Chevy Chevelle..... I swear I must of put thousands into that car lol. Seems I was always trying to upgrade something.

Go Mango, Mellow Yellow... Loved the names for colors of classic muscle cars. Dodge paid college kids to come up with these. The group would get what they thought were their best 3 names for each color, the management would decide what one to use. The one name I loved but was shot down by management was Statutory Grape.

My older brother taught me how to drive a stick in an older (can't remember what year) VW bug. It was yellow and it was missing a good portion of the floor board (kind of like the Flintstones), but, that son of a gun could run. Will always have a soft spot for the V Dubs due to that fact.
