Maybe you should try combining 2014, 2015, and so far in 2016 as a group to get a larger sample.

RR,

Thanks for creating this thread. I created it at the end of 2014 because I was excited that I had such a great year.....

I will be the first to say I had a terrible horse racing year through the windows in 2015. I hit 3 signers as opposed to the 13 I hit in 2014. This is a big part of my game, if I am not hitting large scores I will be a sure loser. Even after crushing Preakness Day, and doing decent on Breeders cup I was down over 3 times what I was ahead for 2014.

I am happy to say in the handicapping tournament world which I really consider last year as my first semi-serious year, I was very happy with my results. I won 3 trips to vegas out of the 4 times I went. I beat some of the best handicappers in the country on Kentucky Oaks day on horse tourneys for a little $1500 score, and my most proud moment I finished 29th out of 734 in the 2015 Horse Player World Series.

I started this year with my first live contest in the Laurel Champions game last Saturday where I finished in 10th place out of 271 entries.

I have also already hit 3 signers this year which ties 2015. Hopefully 2016 will be a better year or I will have to seriously consider cutting back the amount of time and money that I "invest" in this game we all love.

Best of luck to everyone in 2016
Jason

I had a winning year in 2015 and I really enjoyed the Pop Tart I bought with my winnings.

Maybe your net winnings were not what you had hoped they would be, but you out-performed MOST other handicappers.

(Including me).

I guess the 10k WSOP was a free roll since it isn't in the record keeping. Sounds like a few PA members had to take a hit on that one since they decided to buy a piece of you. Maybe the worst investment of 2015 for those members.

Doesn't include a very good showing in a live money tournament at Del Mar.

Losses at Horse Tourney's and on TVG tempered the bottom line a bit.

But overall 2015 was nicely in the plus.

OH One other thing I won $46,000 over a 4 day period playing Sam Houston and some other track where the pools couldn't possibly have yielded that kind of profit.

I can show my ADW slips. I won't but I can. I'll be busy telling the mainliners at AQU which races are fixed by the Ortiz Brothers.

Finally, Please don't ever ask me to handicap a race or give a release BEFORE a race is run. Or ever play a matchup with EMD even though I agreed to 6 months ago.

Hey JimmyQ, go back and read post #33, then give it a rest and go to bed...

Got back 80 cents on the dollar in 2015. No good for sure.

Main handicaps are lack of preparation on too many days and lack of willpower to pass.
