Almost Duck bomb @ CT
Last night in the 3rd at CT, Toy Train was Greg’s top power number at 15-1 ML. Went off at 33-1 and led much of the way before holding on for 2nd. He paid $21.80 to place. Since I follow the Tom wagering plan of 1 unit to win and 3 units to place, I did okay.😎 Thanks Greg and Tom.

You will find that those 15/1 and better place a lot more often than they win.

Ducks
I find that at the smaller tracks that the top E1/E2 horse going off at 10/1 is a good duck.

Load a file. There's a green vertical box; there will be a list of program numbers there after you double-click a race. Be careful as you cannot unscratch. I wrote a program to help with that. Look in the Handicapping Software section in the thread titled Any Interest In This? There hasn't been much interest in it, but I think it's a useful tool for Greg's programs.

That was Greg's goal -- put out good software that was reasonably priced. You just need to be patient and figure out which buttons work at which tracks. Not everything will work at all tracks. Other users like green80 have more experience than I do with NCG's programs so go back and read the things that they wrote. And I'm sure Greg will chime in with things when he can.

Today I handicapped GP with the horizontal buttons at the bottom. Did well. Too bad i'm laid up with a bad foot and couldn't get to Racebook.

thats the key to the mint, find out what works at your track. With so many different ways to handicap, something usually works. It just takes time and good record keeping. For the record, I am a fan of Best 5 consensus.

Greenie
I considered that but nixed it. There's a racebook close to my house and I've been going there 30 yrs. Best 5 looks like good prgm too, would iike to see a few days selections from it.
