Thanks for posting... That race reminded me of how much money I lost on Kathmanblu in the Regret earlier that year. Just hearing the name Kathmanblu makes me cringe.

You are welcome.. What is even more weird is.. I go for a walk with my friend (who I had not met in 2 months or so)..a few hours after I made this post. one of the questions she asked me was: What are you planning for winter/are you getting ready etc.

Then 10 mins later, she throws a random question: What are your earliest memories when you were child..

Ok maybe not so random, but I was certainly amused by the keywords triggering me back to this fine filly.. er... mare? now

Winter Memories was one of those horses that IMO was simultaneously underrated and overrated depending on who you were talking to.

She was underrated by people that just look at final time speed figures, but overrated by people that don't look at figures at all.

Underrated or overrated...I always enjoyed her races. And that's what it's about ultimately.
