I lost my 58 yr old sister who lives in Tampa area about 2 weeks ago. She was fighting colon cancer for 4.5 years.

The 3rd bout of chemo left her with very little immune system left.

She was in and out the hospital for the last 3 months with sepsis and a few other infections. Was home from the hospital about a week and went south in about 18 hours.

I hope RW is getting good care

Chemo, even the new immune based medications, wipes you out. I have taken
Decitabine and cedazuridine (Inqovi) now for almost three years.

A great read was serialized at PBS to help to understand that diseases particularly difficult engagement. A must see to understand the complicated nature of this malady.
