Just checked out the new site. Not sure if anyone commented on this yet, but style wise, their new site seems too similar to Drf. Open both home pages in a browser and put them next to each other and you can't easily differentiate which is which if not for the logos. Both have a lot of red blocking with white text and the dark blocking along the top with white text. Logos are in the same spot with a banner ad to right and both logos are red and black. 2/3 split on the page to the left and 1/3 to right.

Prior to change, there was no mistaking one for the other. Not a big deal, but I would think you would want to visually differentiate yourself from a major competitor.

I thought something was wrong because I reset all my Chrome settings on this computer when I went to Brisnets site. I then tried 3 more computers with different O/S 's and it was the same. It was a bit confusing trying to download a card for tomorrow. I had to create a new password as mine was too short and enter payment information. I didn't like it. My software program parses the race results but now that is totally useless so no more results unless the author does an upgrade. the new Brisnet will take some getting use to. It appears to be geared toward Android. Oh well. Bris finally moved towards the future

It is a policy change and it is explained somewhere on the new site. I will find the new policy and post it later but you should be able to find it.

Customer service.....the hallmark of a reliable provider.

Guess the attitude is free of charge.

Yes... we still offer PPs free when you wager via TwinSpires.com, but those past performances (and/or Insider Picks & Power Plays) must be accessed via TwinSpires.com/handicapping.

Thanks, but when you click on the circuits you just go to some story about Beholder. Would sure appreciate it if someone from Brisnet would reply instead of ignoring this.

NOTICE BRISNET USERS

I've received an invoice with Payment settled for each transaction, they're not doing it once a month.

I put in a complaint that I think they will address quickly , but until then

For each download they debit your credit card ASAP, I use a Bank debit card. Make sure you have sufficient funds in your account or the Bank will take out $35 bucks for each download for insufficient funds

Has anyone tried to find the "Custom Card" feature that lets you filter the types and conditions of races you want to download? I can't find it anywhere.

My experience with BRISNET-Twinspire-FYI

Yesterday I received a call from TwinSpre concerning the email below. No reply was provided by Brisnet. I was told by a Rep from Twinspire that I could download the data files I needed from TwinSpires website and it would be charged to my wagering account.

I’ve signed on to my account at TwinSprires..

I just tried to download results files for yesterdays races and I got a screen wanting credit card information. There is nothing on the screen to charge to your wagering account.

Please see screen shot below and advise. (screen shot left of the post)

Subject: FYI

This is ________. I’m a long time VIP customer.

The new brisnet web site has been a problem for me. My software had a downloader built-in ( JCapper). Everything worked great for many, many, years. Not anymore.

This morning the account reset would not work. Someone at BRIS had to reset. I was on the phone for 3o minutes just on hold.

My credit card used to be charged at the end of the month, one time charge monthly. Now the card is charged per checkout.

My order of 7 DRF style cards for today went through with 3 cards and rejected with 4 cards. I just received a call from the credit card company saying there was fraudulent activity on my credit card because of these daily small charges for the PP files single ($.80). I can’t live with this brisnet accounting change.

I’m not happy about these changes and the way they have affected me today. Changing to Handicappers Data Warehouse for data downloads is an option for me.

I’m considering dropping my Twin Spires online Account as well. I know brisnet and Twin Spires have a relationship under Churchdowns. Inc.. I spoke with ______(private)
