Parx 10-22-2018 R2 the #9 horse --

5-1 morning line. 2-1 facing up to the gate. 9-5 standing in the gate. 6-5 favorite after the race off.

The chart caller's comment says:
Quote:
LITTLEMISSBUSINESS broke slowly and then had poor action falling far behind, settled on the turn, passed tiring rivals.
Maybe I'm reading a little more into that trip than the way the chart caller described it.

RR, I'd be interested to get your (or anyone else's) thoughts after watching a replay.

2 times this happened at Belmont last week.

One 5/1 other 6/1 go into gate, and as they win, they show the odds and both went from their 5/1 6/1 odds to 5/2

2 much money in win pool for this 2 be a coinky dinky.

Here we go again....Just watched Race #5 at Parx, and the went off at 7-1 as they opened the gates, raced from back of the pack, final turn came through on the rail, shifted out mid-track stretch and ground out the win....Final odds---->3-1<-----And the beat continues on, Whales just ate an appetizer, courtesy of me...Hope the scrimp cocktail gives you heartburn.

Funny, but because of the bots extreme late betting ability, I'm LOSING money by becoming trapped on what I believe are +ROI bets at the time I bet them. Thus, even when I catch the win wager, I'm losing a lot of potential profit long-term. If nothing is done about this soon, I will have to join the mass exodus from the win pools and ply my trade solely in the horizontals....It's getting ridiculous at every track, every day.

That is probably where the tracks want your money anyway, less chance to hit and higher take out on those wagers.

You mean you haven't yet mastered the task of predicting where this "extremely-late money" will ultimately land...as the other "hi-tech" handicappers here seemingly have?

It appears to be on the horse in the lead near the 1/8th pole.

Doesn't the huge rebates you get make up for the difference?

Now that's funny.....Win pool rebates are the lowest they've ever been.

I know this has been going on for a long time but it feels like this is as bad as it's ever been.

It is going to keep getting worse IMO under the current model and with the current tech.
