Antivirus

To make a long story short my choice has come down to Eset vs. Webroot. Does anyone here have any experience with either one?

If you're using Windows, the built in antivirus is actually quite good.

I don't run anything else full time (although I will run Malwarebytes and Hitman on occasion, but I don't have them running in real-time).

I've used Eset in the past...way in the past. Version 4 I think. I like it a lot, but when they went to v5 I gave up because it was bloaty and slow. I never tried Webroot. I have used Norton and Kaspersky in the relatively recent past, but they gave me problems with certain apps. I have been a fan of Bitdefender for several years now, as much as one can be a fan of antivirus software. I also use Malwarebytes Premium.

Yes, Windows Defender is ranked pretty high during comparison tests with other anti-virus software. It's baked into the system and free, of course.
