Is there some dark, deep, secrets you expect to find in these tax forms, don't hold your breath over Mittens lame allegations. How much bad character can be found there?

Maybe Trump supporters don't care about that kind of standard to begin with? Maybe Trump supporters never factored in taxes while voting for Presidents ever...."You know, I was going to vote for Romney, but after looking at his returns, I just couldn't do it; so I voted for Obama." I'm going to guess that no one ever uttered such a thing and was taken seriously.

Maybe Trump supporters see through the dust and smoke that the media and political spinmeisters put out there to confuse and deflect. I suggest that if the Donald came out and said, literally, "F*** that, that's between me and the IRS and if they don't have a problem, that's the end of that," his base would grow even more.

Which is completely different from making public the auditing of the Clinton Global Shakedown Initiative to see if they are complying with the rules for charities.

I like to avoid confrontation and argument.

If I'm in a room full of liberals, I'd rather avoid a conversation about Obama. I'll remain quiet and not say anything at all unless asked. Even then, I'll try not to be argumentative while saying what I think.

If I'm in a room full of conservatives, I am way more likely to open up unasked and start ranting.

It's conflict avoidance in my case. I don't mind a little debate, but I've grown weary of long wars. Some people can never let go (a trait I am guilty of at times also). I find when it gets to that point it becomes stressful.

Do you demand the release of tax returns from your City, County, State Elected Officials as they have a more relevant impact on your daily life. I guess no.

Individual income tax returns — including those of public figures — are private information, protected by law from unauthorized disclosure. Indeed, the Internal Revenue Service is barred from releasing any taxpayer information whatsoever, except to authorized agencies and individuals.
Like all other citizens, U.S. Presidential Candidates enjoy this protection of their privacy.

Trump is under no obligation to release his tax returns.
And others have the equal right to question why he isn't.
If Trump wants this job, this tax return question will be like kisses from his mother compared to the criticism he will get if he wins and takes office.

The tax return does not make a whit of difference in anyone voting for him or against him.
It's a red herring.

Nice to see Goren not only back in action, but doing so with panache. I hope you are right. That sounds like almost all upside.

I couldn't find a thread dedicated to Rubio, so I'll post here. Rubio went on twitter today ranting about the media.

Didn't Rubio say he was dropping out and we wouldn't hear from him again?

This is a good example of why he was too young to be president. When you lose, you can't take the ball and go home pouting. Stick to you word. If you don't mean it, then don't say it.

Cruz and Kasich were a little more mature when they dropped out.

It will be interesting to see how Trump or Clinton reacts when one or both of them lose.

In Florida , the super PACs spent $38 million trying to get Rubio close. Trump spent about $2 million. Trump won easily. Trump may not all claims, But he's the only one who promises to bring back manufacturing and get rid of bad trade deals. It will be real change from the stock traders that run the country now. He is not everything anybody likes complete, but he is better than the last few democrats that were liberal on social issues, but were basically GOP on economics. Don't buy into that lie that there was any real difference between Bush and Obama or Clinton. They all put the banks and hedge funds first and foremost. At least in one of debates, he was the only one who raised his hand when asked whether go in Iraq was a mistake. It has been a disaster both human and in an economic sense. We were worse off when left office. It even worse under Obama. We should have known the Shiites were going have to put in power to change. Israel will not allow that to happen, but then again how many ISIS has killed? America' s strongest ally according to some, but so far they could not be more of supporter of radical Islam by blocking anything that might actually harm ISIS, etc. Nothing will change until ISIS's enemies unite. That includes groups that Israel does like. Trump seams to be only America political leader that know that. Europe and the USA can not win the War alone. No sense wasting more money and American lives. More American troops on the ground is not going to change anything but names of radicals.

Jeb Bush quote about Trump:
Quote:
It’s “uncertain,” Bush told the Dutch newspaper NRC Handelsblad, whether the Republican Party will survive as an institution. Parties no longer stand for anything, but become a vehicle for the ambitions of their leaders. Politics becomes a personality show.
Will the Republican Party survive this election?

What does the Party stand for? It seems to have split in half -- the one half that follows the lead of the elites and the other half that follows Trump.

The average person can find out a huge amount of accurate information from the recent "Panama Papers" if inclined to use their head for something other than a hat rack. What Jeb Bush was really saying is that both the Clinton and Bush political dynasty's are soon dead. This is high stakes with billions of dollars parked offshore with George Soros, The Carlyle Group, and the Bilderburg. If Hillary does not become the next President does anyone know just how much George Soros wasted on her alone so far? Can anyone guess how much the Carlyle Group will lose in value of contracts to someone like Donald J. Trump? And to think all the money in the world can not buy the blue collar vote in this one. Jeb Bush was a total joke in a national election, the republican party will be just fine without him this year.
