Chargers at Raiders, LA 1 1/2 favorites , 48 1/2 O/U

Taking the Chargers in a game that I think will be more one sided than the spread.Also taking the under, Oakland is a ball control team and both teams are above average in limiting turnovers and thus preventing short fields and easy scores.

Colts (-10 1/2) over the Dolphins.Miami plays hard and they finally got a win last week but their talent shortcomings should come through today.

Rams (-4) over the Steelers .Steelers playing good lately but they dodged a bullet last week when Adam Viniteri botched a field goal at the final whistle.

Monday Night Football

Tonight's game is one of the better games on the MNF slate as the Seattle Seahawks travel to the City by the Bay to take on the San Francisco 49ers.The Niners are 6 1/2 point favorites with a 47 O/U.

SF is the last undefeated team in the league at 9-0 and I predict they will not be 10-0.IMHO, the 49ers are a "soft" 9-0, a very good but not great team. Seattle, as long as Russell Wilson is around will give teams fits.Thus I am taking the Seahawks and the under.

To start with, I made an error in my original post..San Francisco was 8-0, not 9-0 heading into this game.But I still think the 49ers aren't "all that" as the kids used to say back in the 90's..I'm not sure Jimmy Garoppolo is a Super Bowl worthy quarterback, not the type to carry a team on his back.

Well for once the hype lived up to the game.Exciting ,albeit sloppily played by both teams.When the 49er kicker made the field goal at the end of the fourth quarter,, I knew I was going to have a split.The 49ers couldn't cover the 6 1/2 point spread in overtime and the 47 O/U was already exceeded.
