This is becoming comical...this horse keeps getting claimed-reclaimed and does nothing. I've never seen a horse listed in a 6 horse field @ 99-1

Okay...obviously a mistake, there. He just ran at this level a week ago--was favored, and once again did nothing.

Will he be claimed again tomorrow? This has become a joke.

Since he won't be favored tomorrow (I wouldn't think so, anyway)--I'll play along and bet him....if he doesn't win--that's it! I wash my hands of this entire crazy horse and his cast of claimers.

That horse was probably entered into this race by Carl Broberg before he was claimed by Jon Arnett.
So, I think the 99/1 is because he's been scratch.
The Equibase overnights still list Broberg as trainer.

Here's am interesting horse coming up in the 5th @ GPX:

SILENT TIGER 20-1 Shows a w/o since last, surface and distance switch, dropping down. Has 1 lifetime win--and that was over 2 yrs ago, so I'm really taking a flyer on this one. Trainer shows a flat bet profit but low win %--she probably hits a longshot once or twice a year.

It's a stretch, I know...but I'll take a shot.

I got paid twice on this pick-5 @ Prairie (due to a scratch)...had visions of a couple grand payoff--especially since the last race was a quarter horse race. Nope--p-5 twice didn't even clear $500, after subtracting the $81.00 I spent on the ticket.

My friend later sent an email saying PRAIRIE MEADOWS is in Las Vegas!

That didn't sound right, so I looked it up: it's in IOWA...way out in the sticks.
