ISIS claims responsibility. Russia caught the 4 suspects fleeing towards Ukraine. The suspects were mercenaries and do NOT know who paid them. Putin feels it is Ukraine.
Many feel our CIA helps fund both Ukraine and ISIS.

Unless someone can explain the motivation for a wing of ISIS to kill all these innocent Russian citizens at this moment in time and then apparently try to escape to Ukraine I'm going to have a tough time believing it wasn't a US/CIA/Ukraine operation.
We'll see. Apparently Russia arrested some of the guys.
If it was a CIA operation, I'm going to change my view from thinking the US and NATO provoked an unnecessary war it will eventually lose by helping overthrow the government of Ukraine in 2014 and moving towards NATO membership with missiles, labs, and troops on Russia's border to thinking the US/NATO/Ukraine are even bigger scumbags than I thought.
I hate when I am forced to debate which of two sides is the bigger scumbag.

Dan Bongino suggested another possible backer for the attack could have been Putin. He has been losing support in his country for the Ukraine war and many Russians want it to end. This attack has given the war effort a boost.

I'm not buying that one.
IMO he has more to lose politically for allowing it to happen than he has to gain by getting Russians pissed off at Ukraine/NATO/US.
I think it's either a legit terrorist action for something Russia is doing in the Middle East or to its Muslim citizens in or on the boarder of Russia or it was a Ukrainian operation backed by the US CIA (that will of course be denied).
Either way it's horrible to specifically target citizens who may not even support the foreign policy of their government.

Even proven liars can sometimes tell the truth, just look at president Briben  who lies more than Trump (percentage wise of what comes out of his mouth - quantity wise might be a toss-up as TRUMp functions 20 hours a day and Biden 5 hours).
