The Republican view has always been predictable. Blame anyone but themselves. Clinton was blamed for the destruction that was G.W. Bush...and Obama will subsequently be blamed for the destruction that was Trump. The poor Republicans have always been the innocent "victims of circumstance"...and their followers keep believing this bullshit.

Even those rare Republicans who do dare to hurl some blame at their own leaders always have ready-made excuses at hand. G.W. Bush may have almost destroyed this country...but he was "just a good ole boy with his heart in the right place". Whereas Obama, who had to clean up GWB's mess, was just an "America-hating Muslim". And Trump...who is also leaving America in disarray as he rides into the sunset...just ran out out time. If only Trump had four more years, his MAGA plans would surely have come to fruition. And the only reason Trump didn't accomplish his goals in four years was because Obama had left him an "empty stockpile".

The left had better wise up and start listening to the people instead of insisting the people listen to them. As messy as this has been, as out-of-bounds as Trump and his most loyal followers have been at times, as damaging to the right and the GOP as this should all be, there is still more than enough strong adherents to the anti-left, the anti-progressive, anti-nanny state movement. A vast amount of US citizens still have strong feelings for what would be considered traditional American beliefs, and they could be moderately moved to accept those things that need to be changed to create a fair and equal society, but they just will not accept being told what is wrong or right, was is good or bad, or what they must celebrate as normal. There is much the right will tolerate, but much more they will not allow to be invoked on them.

Exactly.
Exactly.
Exactly.

LISTEN TO WHAT???? Get your head out of it man. Donald Trump was not the choice of main stream America, or even moderate leaning right. He was a reaction. A reaction to nanny state Obamacare. A reaction to a President of the United States that kneels, yes, bows, to Middle Eastern princes, who gifted the Queen of England an IPod, for crying out loud. And even more, a reaction to an opponent in the general election of 2016 that was so full of her righteous self, so certain of her superior intellect, so obnoxious in her arrogance, that not only did main stream America choose whatever they could find on the right, but agitated the moderate right, and absolutely TURNED OFF the moderate left, to the point where we had to tolerate for 4 years a man like Donald Trump as President of the United States. A man who was absolutely clueless as to why he got where he did, and instead just believed it was because he's such a damn swell guy that everybody just loves, and who deserves to sit at the head of power just because, well, he's Donald effing Trump.

Yea man. LISTEN!!

You are absolutely right...Trump was a "reaction". The Democrats presented an unworthy candidate...and the voters "reacted" in an understandable way. And we had to suffer through four years of "clueless Trump" as a result...as you so aptly pointed out.

And now "clueless Trump's" four years are up...and the voters were due for another understandable "reaction". And we'll have to suffer through four years of "sleepy Joe"....as a result of this latest one. And in four more years...another voter "reaction" will be in the works. And then the suffering will begin anew. Thank God we've been given the "right to vote".

I think you'll find that Biden will be much more moderate than expected. If there is going to be any hard left reaction, it will be in the House of Representatives. With a balanced Senate, and an old school guy like Biden as President, outside of fiscal issues, I think this could be a smoother ride than expected. The one that makes me nervous a little is Madam Vice-President elect. I'm not really sure who or what she is, and she could be one of the more prominent VPs we've ever had. And with Biden's age, she's as close to the big desk as she could be without actually sitting behind it. I'm pretty certain Biden will be re-elected in 2024 if he doesn't do anything but keep the waves to a minimum, but whether he'll live through 8 years is a legitimate concern.

The voter turnout was outstanding for the future. The higher the turnout, the better the results. Large voter turnout will always funnel to the center. Those voters that exercise their right to vote religiously are way more apt to vote along strict party lines than irregular voters. Those that vote only when they are excited will vote more to address issues that have swung too far one way or the other, and tend to pull it back towards the center. This November has been an outstanding example of that. If the Dems would have put Hillary up again, Trump would have won again. The more moderate Biden was a step in the right direction.

Trump lost the election because the voting system was rigged and manipulated to take enough votes away from Trump to insure he was not the winner in key battleground states.

Trump lost the election because he lost his mind.

When people say they’re not to bright....... they’re not too bright. Plus, whether you are on the Trump train, the Biden train, the Democrat train or the Republican train, frankly , you’re not that bright.

That being said, many of these Trump train people are actually trained chimps. They’re not even stable human beings. Somehow, that’s conservative??? I could go on Parler and read about Q and demon cults with the “Deep State” or the big, store 10 days of food and water for the big “blackout” that still hasn’t materialized. The newest one is there’s gonna be a “super secret” reinstatement of Trump on March 4 th. I think these people don’t have a life and they spice it up with this bull shit. They take marching orders from someone named “Q”..... no one even know who the fck that is. Then you have people from their mothers basement, cops and some actual normal seeming citizens ..... storming the Capital! One genius had his work badge on for full display. They are afraid of the “tracking vaccine”, as they call it, but they had their cell phones on during the whole deal. One cop even claimed he didn’t break any laws breaking in. We are not talking about the sharpest knives in the drawer here. Yeah, they really think this shit thru. Get an f’ing life already. These are pathetic people with nothing better to do. And they’ll believe any crap that’s flung out there.

They do it for one reason: to get donations.

I haven't heard the one about March 4th yet. My crazy friend sent me a video this morning where they are still claiming the 10-day blackout thing DEFINITELY this Monday, Trump is going to send out a message saying "The storm is upon us." on the emergency broadcast system.

Gee do you think they'll push it back to March 4th after Monday? stay tuned.
