I must be seeing a different world than all the other Obama supporters out there.
And after watching the RNC tonight, and Romney's speech, I can't see why or how anyone with half a brain would vote for four more years of what we've had.
Are you better off now than you were $12 trillion dollars ago?
Serious, staggering question.
I don't understand how those books overseas have Obama as such a heavy favorite. The world doesn't respect Obama, but apparently the bookies do. Good luck with that.

The 92% who have maintained their jobs are better off than on the dole.
The USA 99% that are in work have been getting worse off for the last 30 years.
It's the ultra competitive World global economy that kills once highly paid jobs in USA.
Neither party have the power to create any shift in that. More chance of stopping the tide coming in.

Obama said he could stop the rise of the oceans....wouldn't that help?
But, either party could reverse this - one will not try and the other has sent dozens of bills to the Senate to try - but not a one of them has been voted one.
See, when you have two houses of CONgress who cannot agree on anything, the idea was the President would be a man of honer, integrity, and vision, who would step up and lead them both to a solution to the problems of the nation. A leader.
Alright, you got me........

As you reside in Las Vegas, suggest pushing your lucky streak hard while it lasts, four more years of Obama, if it should happen, could produce very different results.

Amen. Both parties can talk or blame all they want but the world has shrunk rapidly and cheap labor outside the US is not going to all of a sudden go away.
Policy changes arent going to change this dynamic. There are some things that can be done help but they are marginal, not game-changing.
Welcome to the new, harsh reality

I say it's nonsense that nothing can be done about our slide. Whether we do it or not is another thing. We still have more to offer a business in this country than anywhere in the world, if you take into account the totality of factors. What we are doing wrong is that we keep shooting ourselves in the foot, we let an out of control government strangle and suffocate the business climate with profuse regulations, tax burdens, croynism and favoritism. Yes we will continue to slide and our standard of living will diminish if we do nothing. That is the inevitable result of crony socialism, The Road to Serfdom. The only way we can maintain any semblance of the standards, benefits and salaries that we have enjoyed in the past is to reverse our current course. I'm not optimistic that we will.
