Out of these 11...I put a check next to the qualifiers that fit the "profile" we have so far....this is an attempt to cut down on the selections--and keep the most likely winners, by the info we have so far.

Sad to say---this method just isn't working. Last couple days have been a big goose egg---NADA. Any profit went down the tubes--even applying more restrictive rules didn't help....there's something there, obviously. Just can't figure out how to profit from it.
So on to the next test. I see Winger is still showing a profit--that's great.

These are all horses that were Top E-1..and Top Late (or close enough to stand out)
This is powerful--almost as good as finding a horse that's TOP SPEED-TOP PACE. Speed and Pace are usually an accumulation of races to give it that rating--mine is from the last race only.

I've checked this method previously--it hits quite a few longshots--but an agonizing amount of 2nd place finishes as well. Just not enough to profit from place bets.

So now I've tightened it up a little---undoubtedly will need more tightening as we go.

Winger--I like your betting method. Dick Mitchell use to propose to use your percentage of bankroll and same $$ amount for each betting session rather than adjusting after each wager. Seems to iron out the wrinkles. Keep up the good handicapping.

It can get scary on a heavy betting day. A run out at the wrong time can take out a huge chunk of my bankroll.

You all see the payoffs yesterday @ GGF? 7 races.... 6 paid $4....the last a longshot came in--it paid $5.
GGF is my home track, yet I barely pay it any mind. Haven't made a bet there since the MONSAJEM horses were threatening to actually win a race. (they finally did--ONE)

It can't be that hard to nail some of those $4 winners--I'll try a basic, no-frills mechanical method and see if GGF takes any 'capping skills to nail a few of those--I doubt it:
