Amazing what you can do when your CNC is not a sniveling coward who enables terrorism.

And represent AMERICANS.

JR the article makes absolutely zero mention of the United States, Trump, or even US intel.

Quite a leap for the thread topic. Not saying we haven't contributed but there are better (more biased) articles to support your view.

We could also be thanking the Kurds, the Iranians, the Iraqis, the Russians, the Free Syrian Army, and the Assad Regime.

Literally, EVERYONE HATES these people but it must be Trump.

He gets definitely gets some if your thread title is to be believed.

Lt. General Townsend, Commander of Inherent Resolve regarding the battle of Mosel:

Probably the most significant one actually occurred in late November, early December. Up to that point we had been doing most of our advising at the Iraqi division headquarters level. As we got more heavily engaged, we began to realize that that we needed to be closer to the fight. [So] we started advising at the brigade level. That turned out to be the sweet spot. On occasion we would go down to battalion level, on a case-by-case basis, where the mission called for it.

The author of that article is a US combat veteran turned journalist who's now an embedded war correspondent in Syria and Iraq.

As far as Rolling Stone, anyone with half a brain knows that the magazine has featured investigative, social, and political stories for 50 years. Many famous authors and journalists have had a Rolling Stone byline.

Stick to the Sunday comics.

Its like Tom calling Obama a Muslim sympathizer when the facts are he absolutely obliterated terrorist leadership and dropped ordinance at a rate we haven't seen since Vietnam and WWII.

Trump is doing a fine job following up on it. Not much more, not much less.

Yeah...Rolling Stone that was born in San Francisco is a real bastion of truth. Not a liberal, biased bone in its body.

It does seem funny that DJT isn't touting that article in the NYT . It's not like him.

No mention of him in the article.

The main role of the US in this action has been bombing. The troops on the ground were Iraqis and Kurds.

Not surprising that The New York Times might omit his name, on purpose.
