New Forum Idea

PA -- I wonder if a new forum title "Entrepreneurs Only" would be popular. This would be a place where people could discuss startup business ideas.

You would think the financial markets forum would be more popular, but it gets very little action.

I don't see this idea flying.

That's because everyone knows that the financial markets are CROOKED.

Probably wouldn't be that popular. There are samurais and there are rice pickers. Entrepreneurs are more like samurais and there are a lot more rice pickers than samurais.

Plus, it can probably be done in off-topic with an occasional thread.

Horse racing is just as crooked if not more so, and it gets tons of action.

Not to mention politics...since we're on the subject of crooked.

I am surprised that we still care about horse racing and post in the forum. The financial markets make much more sense as a potential way to make money over the long term. Of course the gambling spirit exists in that sub-forum as well. I went into a thread about the S & P 500 and there was pretty much posts about option trading. Typical gambling horseplayers

Seems to me that you could start that thread right here in this forum. What ideas do you have?

I'm guessing you are a Shark Tank and a The Profit fan. They are two of my favorite shows.

Remember, unless you are lucky with one of those one-in-a-million jokes like the pet rock, clever ideas are not the key for startup businesses. Filling a need is.

I think it was a “Dear Abby” quote: Some people talk about people, some people talk about things, a wise person talks about ideas.

I would love to hear from some of our members.
