Sad news, RIP Keith.
And weird because I was googling around on Wednesday to find out who played keyboards for the Crazy World of Arthur Brown, discovered it was Vincent Crane and found that Vincent and Carl Palmer split from Brown to form Atomic Rooster which was influenced (somehow) by Rhinoceros which contained members from my favourite Toronto band from the late 60's, Jon & Lee and the Checkmates ... and on it goes. Is this a flashback?

Legendary rock keyboardist Keith Emerson's death is being investigated as a suicide ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us Emerson had a single gunshot wound to the head when his girlfriend found him in their home in Santa Monica.
The Emerson, Lake & Palmer co-founder had recently been suffering from a serious medical problem -- a degenerative nerve issue in his right hand ... according to our sources. We're told he could only play the keyboard with 8 fingers at this point and knew it was only going to get worse.
As a result, he was struggling with depression.

Totally sympathize with his situation and accept his actions.

Making music was obviously his passion. Without it, life was not worth living.

It's one of the bad things about getting old. And it is a constant reminder of our own mortality.
