If you do deduct office space in your home be sure you know the rules and have everything in order. Your odds of being audited will increase and not just a little

Greenwich, Connecticut is opening a new drive-in! They're putting on the old polo grounds. I think it's just temporary, but still, it's a good idea.
My little hometown had one. It was a right of passage to lay down in the back seat or in the trunk of a car and sneak in. We'd have 6 people in the car, but only two would pay.
We never got caught, so I'm sure management knew it. They made it up on concessions.

Drive ins....pffftttt....are people really going to go to a drive-in?
I can get much better audio quality (and even picture quality) at home...why would I go out to a drive-in to sit in my relatively uncomfortable car for ~2 hours watching a movie?
At least in a movie theater, the audio is good and nowadays, they have reclining, comfortable seats...and the screen is a lot bigger than you get at home...

I would definitely go to a drive in if there one around here.
Sitting in the car at night, windows open, smelling popcorn from the stand......lots of good memories.
Sitting at home watching a movie I fall asleep!
I don't like theaters - too many big mouthed idiots go there and never shut up.
And I need a credit reference to buy a tub of popcorn.

In addition:
Drive ins in northern climates made no sense. Most were closed in the winter,or if open, nobody went to them.Worse of all, they were large ,flat open tracts of land usually located off major roads that required very little effort to convert,i.e. catnip to commercial developers. The 6 or 7 drive-ins where I grew up in Massachusetts are now shopping centers (and one that became a federal housing project.
According to Wikipedia, there are about 400 drive-ins currently in the country which is up from a low of 200 in the late 80's but signifigantly down from their late 50's peak of 4,200.

In a day and age where you can stream online, even thru your public library holdings, let alone all the commerical services available, the only reason for going to a drive-in would be some sentimentality quotient.
That would wear off quickly.
Bad investment, unless you have a whole bunch of movies you bought as a theatre house and trying to stay afloat for a short while.
Teens with drivers licenses and looking for a place to make out away from parents maybe. That would probably end up bringing on more problems than it's worth what with drugs and alcohol being snuck in, and all the attendant problems associated with that. This ain't the 1950s anymore, folks. And we don't live in Mayberry.
Plus hot weather, super cold weather. Rain. Fog.

The new TV’s and sound are better than the movie theater.

Couldn't help smiling at that. The Drive-In in our town has cars lined up for a half mile before they open weekdays to get in. Lined up for a mile before they open to get in on weekends.
