Seems to be a LOT of that going on lately at various tracks.

Two races at Mahoning Valley on Monday with no fractions, and one at opening day at Will Rogers Downs. Nothing new here, these tracks are habitual offenders.
Turf Paradise still reporting races as being run with 0 run up when clearly there is run up. I know Equibase has contacted them about it. Guess they haven't gotten around to actually caring at TuP.

It's a busy time what with wiener dog racing last week and camels and ostriches on the near horizon. There might be two people in the plant that know what run-up is and they are both standing in a line of three to get a form.

So I'm sitting at the bar in the pass through at Gulfstream enjoying my birthday and a few beers. They show the run ups on the signal I guess. Race 6 coming up is a 7 1/2 f affair with a listed 321 ft run up. That's 9 feet short of a half furlong. Seriously? Don't care if the fractions are even right for this one on the colored sand, that's just ridiculous. Race 8 is listed as having a 5 ft run up by the way....it is listed as 1m on the turf. There are 14 ft difference between these two races start to finish.

It is ridiculous. Has been addressed many times. They don't get it and I guess never will.

But it's the Championship Meet. The signs and more importantly the Internet all say so......of course after seeing the kickback on the turf I want trip horses running back on Belmont main course. Ah well, retired to the Yard House for a nice German Hefe Weissen

Enjoy your B-Day in the sun, Al!
Hey, at the track, you might have a 25 hour day!

Add Hawthorne to the list of tracks that can't seem to get the fractions right, multiple ones missing yesterday.

I don't have time to check into it today but no way is the final time for the last race at Penn on Thursday (3-24) correct IMO. I think maybe we got the mile time instead of the 1m 70y time.

They had a 7f fraction on the screen which only happens with mile timing. The 1m70 time is right around 1:44.0.

That is exactly what I figured happened. I even checked to make sure it wasn't really a mile race and the distance was mislabeled.
