There is one person on that stage that has actually got stuff done and followed through on what he has said. Ron Desantis. Reading these posts shows me the is no hope for the right. We all want our idol in there like Trump who failed all of us during covid, in draining the swamp, and combating the left. Do you ever get sick of the same rally and same rehearsed talking points over and over? Do you ever have an issue with warp speed and how many Americans were poisoned and he still pats himself on the back for it. You ever get sick or the likes of Wray who he put in charge never mind all of the other swamp creatures. You love how he has abandoned all the people incarcerated for jan 6th? I can go on and on. Lets hear about all the policy issues you have with what happened in Florida. He turned a purple state solidly red while Maga candidates got crushed around the country when the red wave was supposed to happen. I believe Trump means well but he surrounds himself with the worst people and is not willing to do what it takes to put all the right people in place that want what good conservatives want.

So the truth is I do not really dislike Tucker Carlson, I just do not like hearing his voice. The thing is Donald J. Trump will select who he trusts for loyalty above all I suspect. That deduction process is his alone and not to please either of us or any forum. Much can happen between now and the republican convention, and none of it favors Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.. My question is if there is a rift between Tim Scott and Donald J. Trump or is something that can patch that into a ticket. Never before has a democrat run a foul with the Black vote as Biden has allegedly, I am sure there will be leaks soon for a short list. And fake interviews like the one with Willard Mitt Romney who Trump was aware of the fact he was a rat before the interview. It was even more funny watching Trump say to Christopher James Christie, Cris the plane is over there go.

I have 3 people I'd like Trump to consider/select:

1--Dr. Ben Carson

2--Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders

3--Gov. Doug Bergum

I'd love for those liberal idiots to try to disparage Carson that he's not qualified or that Trump picked him "only" because he's black. We are smarter, way smarter, than the media and the political class. And Ben Carson is smarter than all of us.

On that vein, Sarah Sanders, beat the crap out of the media when she was Press Secretary (unlike our current one, the incoherent lesbian, Pepi Le Pew). Sanders took incoming and swatted those losers every day of the week.

On Doug Bergum... he may too old in our day and age, but this guy is a winner. He got lost in the shuffle and then delegated to ignored also-ran status but the few times I heard on the stump, he was dead-on about the problems we have and his solutions to correct them. Coming from an oil state will be an added plus.

Two businessmen running on how they will fix the government and the economy -- proven winners too -- are hard to knock.

All the others named would disappoint me -- especially Tucker. He'll be more effective for the country with his political commentary than he would be as a Veep, imo.

Picking a firebrand such as Kari Lake for VP would be a mistake. For that reason, maybe Vivek would be a mistake too as a VP choice.

Also, picking a war monger such as Nikki Haley would be a mistake.

I've read that the Trump camp is favoring Ben Carson for VP, and that would be a perfect choice. He needs a mild mannered personality to offset his own.
