Vic Stauffer Wins Big at Del Mar Tourney

Del Mar- Nov. 12-13, 2016

Vic Stauffer of Novato, CA, takes the Del Mar November Handicapping Challenge by turning his $2,500 starting bankroll into $23,375. Stauffer gained the lead in the final race with a $2,000 win bet on 4-1 Colonel Samsen. Stauffer wins $38,000 in cash plus the $23,375 bankroll, a $10,000 entry into the 2017 $1 million Breeders’ Cup Betting Challenge (BCBC) at Del Mar. If he goes on to win the 2017 BCBC, he will receive an additional $1 million bonus.

Congrats, Vic.....With the money you're taking down at these tourneys, are you sure that gig at Oaklawn pays enough?...

Congrats Vic...looks like you are going to need a golf kart to haul those bags o cash around...not that I'm jealous, or anything....say was wondering if you could help out me and Racetrack Playa down in the "live selections" dept. here at PA once in a while by posting a pick, or five or ten...Playa and I are getting a little desperate lately trying to fend off the high take-out, you know...

We are here at PA most weekends.....thanks in advance....Vigors

Doesn't surprise me a bit. When he was on TVG you could tell he knew what he was talking about, and he did the work.

Congratulations, that is a nice score.

And I'm full of myself for grinding out 3 or 4 k over the course of a long, frigid Mahoning winter. This guy DEFINES the term "sharp."
