If you read those 2 web sites for the details the real numbers present a different picture.


The Kurzman study shows two tables with muslim extremist murders and one from the Anti Defamation League for “right wing” murders. The one for muslim extremists shows 50 murders and the one for right wing murders shows 38. And, since this study ends their counts with 2014 they don’t count the 49 people killed by Omar Mateen at the night club in Orlando in 2016.
They don't show any table that corroborates their count of 254 murders by right wing groups.

The other point I would make is that majority of the Kurzman report asks police what they believe not what is the factual reality.

I would also question the Defense One web site that hcap posted. In one of the first paragraphs it says they are counting the murders by Cruz of the 17 students in Parkland FL as “right wing” violence. Which is highly debatable. That web site also used the Southern Poverty Law Center as a source. The SPLC is its own hate group. I wouldn’t believe anything they say.
