Big Papi makes it to The Hall

Bonds and Clemens.......done and gone

I read a long time ago that a DH would never be picked for The Hall....

I guess it was better than picking the juicers....

Isn't it ironic that the Home Run King and The Hits Kings are both out

Ortiz was popped for steroids, unlike the others that are done. Not sure how that works.

There were few bigger baseball fans than me. I couldn't care less about the sport any longer.

Anyone who thinks that a Ruth or Cobb and other like legends wouldn’t have juiced if given the same situation is dreaming.

Baseball is a business. Not a field of dreams.

The strangest thing is that Ortiz made it on his first attempt to get in....

The writers almost ALWAYS never let someone get in on first attempt unless they were outstanding all around players....

IMO......Ortiz was voted in out of necessity or Bonds or Clemens would have got it...he was the best of the worst ??????

Ortiz is the only hall of famer to have tested positive for PED use and was elected in his first year of eligibility. Bonds was on the ballot for ten years, had over 200 more home runs than Ortiz and never failed a drug test. Clemens also on the ballot for ten years, won 7 Cy Young awards and voted mvp 1 year, a rarity for a pitcher. He too never failed a drug test.
