Meat Loaf had a LONG history of coronary issues, even collapsing on stage a few times during his decades-long career.

RIP to the legendary Meat Loaf, who sold over 100 million record albums during his Hall of Fame.

Bat out of hell is a masterpiece.

Jim Steinman and Todd Rundgren were genius.

But Meat pulled off the singing of some very difficult stuff ……..

It sells 200k copies a year, still ……

Just got an email from a friend.

Meat Loaf lived in Stamford, CT for awhile and coached his son in Little League. Said he was a fun guy, approachable to everyone and the kids just loved him -- and most of them were too young to know how big a rock star he was.

RIP.

I think the height of his popularity was when I was in high school, I think every other kid had the Bat Out of Hell album.
