Keeneland hosting a 5 day meet?

https://turfnsport.com/keeneland-to-...eting-in-july/

Why only 5 days? I guess since Ellis Park is racing from June 28th to September 6th?

https://www.keeneland.com/racing/hor...takes-schedule

Keeneland will also host the Breeders Cup this year followed by Del mar in 2021! Hopefully Woodbine will be ready for 2022 for the Breeders Cup since they have 2 Turf courses and all weather track but hopefully they consider this as a location and not just the same places over and over again

Kentucky Downs is temporarily closed. I prefer them to Keeneland. Turf only.

They may be a possible. They have a 5-day meet and I don't know how they do that. But, they have the racino aka slot machines and are 40 minutes from Nashville, so that money comes in.

Can't see a BC Ever again on an artificial track.
I liked it at SA because most people didn't have CJ's figs and the turf to poly angle was profitable. And dirt horse running up the track helped, to.

5 day meet!
Wow.

At least you know your hot dog will be fresh!

Keeneland gets very high marks for their concessions. I think a week there, Tom, and you might be a big Burgoo fan:-)

I was there once, for a Sartin Seminar.
No racing, but simulcasting.
LOVED the place - beautiful, good food comfortable.....It's their racing I have little interest in. I watch them for the stakes, but I never bet races there.

I had a burger that was just damn goooooood!
