Ted Cruz just killed his career

Well-known wanker, Ted Cruz, just killed any chance of being a serious Presidential hopeful in 2024.

In a nutshell Cruz called the Jan. 6 Capitol protesters "terrorists".

Cruz had already proved in 2016 he doesn't have what it takes to be on the national stage and now he showed us that he is nothing more than another Republican idiot.

To anyone dumb enough to buy that crap, after having control of the "Just Us" Dept. for a year now, what serious charges have been filed? How many people
have been charged with attempting to overthrow the government?

Is THIS the big threat to our democracy the bottom feeding democrats are afraid of?

It may have been a politically poor choice of words to use because those on the right that believe the election was stolen via illegal votes do not feel they are terrorists. They feel they are fighting a huge injustice. However, most of those people would probably vote for Trump in the next primary anyway, not Cruz. It's not going to hurt him with the center and center right and he's never getting a single vote from the left.

I never had a problem with the protest if you truly believed the democrats used illegal means to get enough votes to win some key battleground states. But there is a difference between protesting and confrontations with the police, entering the capital etc...

IMO, it was more of a protest that turned into a riot like we've had all over the country in the last few years for all sorts of reasons. It wasn't an insurrection.

This country has approximately 75 million gun owners and they own about 400 million guns. As far as I know, only 1 of the protestors had a gun and he didn't draw or use it. It dropped out of his pocket. If it was more than 1, it wasn't a lot more.

That's the least armed insurrection in the history of mankind.

When a million armed people show up in DC, then the media and politicians will understand what an insurrection is really like. All they have to do is keep lying, stealing, being corrupt, printing money and inflating, showing totalitarian tendencies etc.. and we may get to see a real one in our lifetimes.

Trump never called for the Guard. In fact he never condemned the rioters and it was only after several hours that he sent a recorded message urging them to go home. The National Guard was dispatched on orders from th e. Secretary of Defense.

Does it mean Pelosi refused to send the National Guard? She has no authority to do so. Does it mean she refused the National Guard? She never did that.

Completely different. The Wisconsin Legislature continued to meet during the teacher’s Union protests. There were no threats or violence.
