This kind of advertising should go to people that aren't ADW customers ( we already get this)

Put an ad in the Daily News Sports Section......

Show the public that horse racing can be viable sport again....and fun

Horses breaking down shouldn't be the only news that makes it in the
papers !!!!

Emails is cheap advertising

I’m not so sure a print ad gets much attention from anybody under 65

Contest , TV ads , Radio Talk, mail adds...

I remember getting "Free" $5 bets ticket and admission to the track....
When was the last time that happened??

here in NY , Mike Francesa was on the radio for 30 years.....he owned and talked about horses every so often....Even had people (Paul LaDuca) come on the show....

Now that he "retired" not one word about the sport..on a Sports Radio Station

How do they show it to be a viable sport again? They've been doing the fun/entertainment thing for decades and it hasn't made the game any more mainstream. Several recent Triple Crown winners made no impact. All the things people thought would work haven't. Doubling down on failure gets you more failure IMO

Let's say that on December 26th which is opening day of Santa Anita they average 25 million dollars. What does that mean to you?

In an age where competition for the gambling dollar is going to come from sports wagering via a smart phone app, the game isn’t going to be grown by getting people to come to the track or by trying to get their attention through print media or the radio. NYRA does a good job with putting its product on the web and on tv, the only two real outlets to grow it

During 2020 Covid racing was the only thing going......

And the pools reflected that people will bet

So the money is out there , just need a way to keep it....

I just hope Fan Duel or Draft Kings can do something that can spark things up....when NY opens up

Not sit on their asses and say ...o well, it is what it is....

Imagine if there were no whales....bye bye racing

Not all...but a lot of tracks would end up shuttering

You can’t. Not all the parts involved will cooperate. As in never.

Do not ask anyone you know or have communicated here with to be a part of the solution, those who have closed down tracks are also complete losers who want to increase another dollar at the doors and parking.
