I'm sorry, but I do have empathy for Rayshard Brooks and his family.
A man sleeping it off in a Parking Lot, albeit blocking traffic, does not deserve to be sent home in a body bag.
The incompetence of the Police has to be reviewed here at each of the several stages that took place.

If this happen a year ago.......the cop would be at the mercy of the grand jury.

Btw, a Taser is deadly force if you ask me because it incapacitates.
The same Mayor fired 5 cops last week for "using deadly force" a taser on the couple in the car.
If this officer is smart, he and his lawyer take their time and sue the shit out of the city...........
Btw, there has got to be a police directive on whether or not a taser is considered deadly force. He is either right or wrong.
Btw, I would have never shot at the guy. They had his ID etc.
But the minute he used that taser to carjack somebody.....I shoot him, because the whole scenario changes at that point. He is unsafe to the public
Some cops aren't smart enough to wait for the inevitable next step........ hunt him down later or apprehend him for carjacking
This officer was an idiot. Every cop in the country knows that blacks have Carte Blanche right now. It would take a crow bar to get me out of my car in this environment.

I don't know the cop that killed Rayshard, so I don't know what would've happened without Body Cams.
In this case the body cam put a cop into a position where he had to make an arrest in a situation where he might have
looked the other way. Everything went downhill from there.
BTW
A taser makes a popping sound when fired.
Some times sadly and often times rightfully, cops respond to popping sounds in confrontational situations with gunfire.

Today, DUI’s should to jail, period. If a cop gave a drunk driver a break I would consider it WAY worse than what happened here.

would it matter to you that one of the cops called in and there was a warrant for his arrest and that is why they decided to take him in?
or have you seen enough already to convict the cops?
