Fairgrounds Gulfstream identical post times
The more things change , the more racing still doesn't get it . FG and GP going off at the same time on a big stakes race day.

Complaining is not a strategy.

Didn't you have the opportunity to wager upon every single race on that card about 2 or 3 hours ago?
Heck GS, it opened 6 hours ago.

No, I didn't have the time to wager on the races 2 or 3 hours ago but most importantly, I like to know what the odds are closer to post time and not base bets on morning line odds! So you think it is a good idea to run all their stakes races at almost the same exact post time when you are featuring your premier race of the meet?
1-I hope you don't own a business with the way you think
2-Next time you are not happy about what a business is doing, don't complain, SUCK IT UP!!!

I'm sure Bezos was directing this comment at Amazon customers.

Actually he was directing it at Amazon competitors.

I run into this problem too, but I never complain about it. I get two monitors, or watch one track live and one replay.

If you go Starbucks and they serve you a cold coffee, do you just bring it home and heat it up in the microwave...and not complain? If so, you're easily pleased.

No. Mr. Bezos' words are relevant in many situations.

Why would I go to Starbucks if they sell cold coffee? Besides that, demanding hot coffee or a refund is more than complaining, and therefore is a strategy.
If I thought the racing powers that be read these threads and set policy accordingly, I never would have responded as I did.

I'll drop it - your logic in this thread has been ironclad.

Is anyone else also sick of the fake post times at SA & GP? 0 MTP really means about 4 MTP at these places it seems, why can't they just set a schedule & stick to it? Would help avoid overlapping races, especially at tracks controlled by the same owner. The other day the TVG announcers were making a big deal about the extreme heat in California & how they'd have shortened post parades for this reason, and even with all this the 1st race still goes off nearly 5 minutes after scheduled time, pretty much defeating the point of the shortened parade.
